hemmler+camayd architects carefully restored this 1929 Maginnis and Walsh Romanesque Revival historic monastery church following its elevation to a Basilica by Pope John Paul II. The sanctuary redesign reflects Vatican II liturgical requirements.  Lighting, sound, and air-conditioning meet contemporary standards without compromising the historic architecture.
