The historic first masonry Catholic church in Northeastern Pennsylvania serves as the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Scranton. hemmler+camayd architects rebuilt in kind the masonry skin at the exterior and made sympathetic updates in the interior to bring the elaborate, much renovated structure into visual harmony. Contemporary lighting, sound, and air-conditioning are handled with visual discretion.
