Misericordia University – Insalaco Hall

This mixed-use building serves both students and the general public as a teaching and conferencing center.  The linear structure helps to give shape and order to the central green space of the campus.  The extensive use of glass is offset through masonry piers and pylons that are distinctly” Miseracordian” in character.  The split level and two-story components take advantage of the gently sloping site.

Program: An enhanced auditorium, a small performance space, the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery , a conference center, fine arts and general use classrooms, faculty offices, and the University’s Business Department.

Completion: 2009
