hemmler + camayd architects was selected as the lead architect for this challenging redevelopment project under the jurisdiction of numerous private and public stakeholders. The $29 million mixed-use project includes luxury condominiums, retail spaces, new sidewalks and extensive façade restoration designed in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Rehabilitation.

The redevelopment of the 500 Block of Lackawanna Avenue required hemmler + camayd to engage the stakeholders to build consensus on a unified vision. hemmler + camayd architects developed a master plan that builds a bright future for urban living on Scranton’s rich architectural legacy.
