Lackawanna College Theater

Scranton, PA

The elegant, neo-classical two-story auditorium at Lackawanna College was part of the 1923 expansion of the original Scranton High School.  It forms the core of the expanded building, with circulation and classrooms wrapping around it.  Restoration of the 1,200 seat auditorium allows its use for the college’s theater arts department, as well as for guest lectures, Scranton Community Concerts, and Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic concerts and other local theater and dance productions.

Completion: 1998
