hc architects worked closely with The Wright Center Medical Group to modernize nurses’ suites/health care centers within four area school districts: Lakeland, North Pocono, Scranton, and Valley View School. These districts participated in this School-Based Health Center Capital Program funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), updating their standard nurse’s offices into fully-equipped exam rooms.

The work included the modernization, creation, and renovation of twelve specific areas within numerous buildings throughout each district, as well as one new addition. hc architects provided effective design solutions to overcome the challenges within the existing buildings while complying to the many requirements of both the school districts as well as the medical group. The design of these new health care centers included the coordination of all furniture and equipment.
