Kutztown University hired hc architects to design the 69,000 SF renovation and 53,000 SF, 3-story addition to the Rohrbach Library. Comprehensive architectural services included existing conditions evaluation, space planning, interior design and construction observation. The library includes an Audio Visual Department, 480,000 volume library stack, 2,160 title periodical area, public catalog, rare book room, administrative spaces, and 1,000 study stations. The facility is ADA compliant and was completed in 1994 at a cost of $6,450,000.
