hc architects provided complete design services for this new, 80,000 SF building, from planning through interior design.  The library’s design is flexible, allowing for technological improvements over the next quarter century, with provision for future expansion of the building itself.

Over $1 million in furnishings incorporate coordinated fabrics, customized wood stains, and custom designed lighting fixtures. An art budget of over $100,000 allowed inclusion of an art frieze depicting the “Heritage of Scranton”.
