The Sherbine Lounge, which was part of the original Student Learning Center on campus, was renovated to allow students to interact and connect with both their peers and the latest technology trends which allows for a very flexible interactive and collaborative environment.

Construction was completed over the summer months to allow minimal disruption to the academic calendar.

Light colored finishes as well as a custom back-painted glass helps to give this space a larger, more open feel, while more substantial, finishes such as brick and wood, provide a more raw, modern aesthetic that resonates with those who utilize the space. Flip-down/nesting tables and chairs allow for easily configurable furniture groupings, while large, comfortable soft-seating provides a more relaxed, lounge-like atmosphere. The various colors and furnishings bring a fun, lively feel and transform this space into an active, exciting PSU hotspot.
