hc architects spearheaded the rehabilitation of the abandoned historic Dickson Locomotive Works, transforming it into a museum adjacent to the Steamtown National Historic Site. The project not only called for the historical renovation of the dilapidated buildings, but also for the design of interpretive programs and exhibits. hc architects was also part of the project team that was responsible for environmental and cultural assessments, current economic and business conditions analysis, and an industrial siting survey.
