The Stoehr & Fister building renovation was the adaptive reuse of the former six-story furniture store into 60 market-rate apartments including one- and two-bedroom layouts. The first floor is dedicated tom businesses to lease commercial space; new storefronts and windows were installed to match the original design, and the original terracotta masonry exterior was restored. This project renovation met the standards required by the Federal National Park Service.
