hc architects was hired to complete a Facility Evaluation Study and develop a Program with Conceptual Design Alternatives to address the immediate and long-term needs of the congregation.

Our study recommended expanding the existing narthex and adding an elevator.  A need for a 12,000 SF addition for classroom and office space was also identified.  hc was retained to see the project through design and construction, and the new addition harmoniously blends with the existing building in style, scale and material.  Code violations of the existing structure were addressed, and the entire complex has been made accessible to people with disabilities.
