This new parish complex built to serve 1,200 families consists of four primary components: worship spaces, administrative offices, a community hall, and education rooms. These are arranged so that the worship spaces, the nave, and daily mass chapel are the focal point of the complex. Together, these spaces can seat 700 people and reflect the liturgical standards set forth by the second Vatican Council. The axis of the nave is sited so that early morning and late afternoon sun wash the sanctuary with brilliant color, and a continuous band of clerestory glazing permits the roof to “float” above the nave.

Interior furnishings designed by hc architects complement the clean, straightforward interior of the church. The altar is built on top of an exposed boulder that was unearthed during the excavation of the site, referencing a biblical passage.

The east wing of the building houses the parish’s administrative offices. West of the nave is the community hall, which seats 400, and its supporting kitchen and storage areas. Directly beneath the hall are education rooms, containing nine instruction/meeting spaces with supporting office and storage areas.
