The structure of the porte-cochère was constructed with brick and limestone columns and garden walls, wood scissors trusses, wood purlins, a wood deck, and metal roofing, all of which complement the existing church. A skylight incorporated into the middle of the structure allows daylight though to the stamped concrete surface and front door. 

As result of the porte-cochère addition, the site required reconfiguration of the existing access drive which allowed for a new lawn and landscape bed that further enhanced the church entry. The project also included the addition of ADA parking spaces as well as new sidewalks with masonry bollards and pedestrian lights that illuminate the path from the parking area to the main entrance.
